BACK AT THE BARNYARD - Game Design
Year: 2009
Client: Nickelodeon
Role: Art Director
In an episode of Nickelodeon's "Back at the Barnyard" cartoon, the characters have to decide what to do on a boring day. They decide to pretend that they are giant monsters in a Godzilla-esque black and white film. Nickelodeon asked our team for a game based on this look and feel. As Art Director on this Flash game, I was responsible for the overall visual design. I met with a team of animators and illustrators and directed the game artwork with style guides and comps. While I created GUI, background and game graphics, I approved animation, sound and illustration from the team. I also worked with a programmer to test the game and build the gameplay.

ANIMAX SQUARES - Game Design
Year: 2008
Client: Animax
Role: Graphic Designer
As a way to promote Animax's original content, our animation staff added proprietary characters to the Tic Tac Trivia game. My role in this project was to create an environment and interface that fit into the site's "backstage" look and feel. I also needed to create a space that worked with the existing character designs. Finally, I had to design a stage that mimicked the "Hollywood Squares" set.
