Work Experience:
Freelance Work October 2012-Present. For the Million Muppet March, an organization supporting public funding of public media, I created T-shirts, a website, logos, icons, illustrations, print banners, photo books and two music videos, animated in After Effects. For The United Way, I redesigned the look and feel for the International Donor Advised Giving section of the website. For POV Entertainment, I worked on several banner ad campaigns including The Following, Dinosaur Train, Southland and Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat.

Wilshire Media Group. June 2012-October 2012. As a Graphic Designer at Wilshire Media, I created high-end presentation materials for pitches to clients like Experian, Yahoo, Petco and Mars. I designed PowerPoint decks, laying out content, adding additional infographics and creating custom visual elements in Photoshop. I also designed print materials such as posters and spiral-bound books to supplement the PowerPoint decks. I edited website graphics for client presentations. I also retouched photos for a new line of toys for girls.

Level Studios. October 2011-April 2012. Graphic Designer on BlackBerry.com. Day to day tasks included creating image lockups with realistic lighting effects and arranging page layouts according to the brand's style guide. Consistently executed pixel-perfect graphics, including shape layers, smart objects and UI elements. Go-to designer for the e-Commerce and Careers sections, translating wireframes into page layouts.

i-Trailers. March 2010-August 2011. Interactive Designer. UI Design and animation for interactive movie trailers, including major releases for Universal, Warner Bros., and Sony. Created behind-the-scenes modules in Flash, allowing the user to explore individual shots within the trailer. Cropped, optimized and exported video for the web. Implemented After Effects templates for intro animation.

Animax Interactive. May 2007-September 2009. Graphic Designer on virtual worlds and television animation. Art Director on Flash games for Nickelodeon. Background Designer for Popzilla, an animated comedy on MTV. Game Screen Designer on Beanie Babies and Ty Girlz. Web Designer on sites for the Starlight Foundation.

Freelance Work. December 2006-April 2007. Flash Graphic Designer on various projects, including Bandai's 2007 Power Rangers toys. Duties included: directing a photo shoot, toy animation and project coordination.

Tiltware. November 2004-November 2006. Senior Graphic Designer on website graphics, print art, flyers, DVD promos, T-shirt designs, banner ads and newsletters. Provided design direction to a team of junior designers. Coordinated projects between the Executive Art Director, marketing team and designers.

Production Assistant. July 2002-January 2004. PA for television commercials in New York City. Clients included: Infinity, Advair, Jell-O and Lysol. Production companies included: Ridley Scott Associates, HSI, Pytka and Hungry Man, Inc. Hands-on experience with ad agency expectations.

Webvertising. May 2000-June 2002. Interactive Designer. UI skins for the first hotel reservation system created in Flash. Quicktime VR photographer for Best Western hotels in Costa Rica. Web design for resort hotels, investment capital companies and local businesses. Client management.
