BlackBerry.com - Web Design
Year: 2011-2012
Client: BlackBerry.com
Role: Graphic Designer
While working for Level Studios, I provided graphic design support for BlackBerry.com. I updated graphics, created image lockups and arranged page layouts according to the brand's style guide. Pixel-perfect graphic execution was a must, making it necessary to check every shape layer for accurate path placement, every line of text for perfect alignment and every smart object for edge quality. Generous white space (or in this case black space), consistent use of color and realistic lighting effects formed the backbone of BlackBerry's look and feel.

COPING WITH CHEMO - Website Redesign
Year: 2007
Client: Starlight Children's Foundation
Role: Graphic Designer
The Starlight Children's Foundation helps children understand and cope with serious illness. Animax created the "Coping With Chemo" website as a way to help children understand the chemotherapy process. Animators created a series of short animated clips that talk about chemotherapy. In 2007, Starlight decided to update the look and feel of the website. They asked me to give the site a more modern, grunge look that resonated better with their kids. Shortly after the redesign, the site won the 2008 WEBAWARD For Outstanding Achievement in Web Development.

POWER RANGERS OPERATION OVERDRIVE - Flash Design/Animation Direction
Year: 2006
Client: Bandai
Role: Flash Designer
For the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive site, I built out all of the sections of the website based on initial comps and added AS2 coding to make the site function. With the help of a programmer, I pulled toy information from a database to display each individual toy on the site. I directed a photo shoot to capture stop-motion animation of each toy transforming from vehicle to robot. I directed a small team of animators to produce the animation on the site.
